Internship - 2011

On July 4, 2011 Karoll welcomed its interns: Christian Karastoyanov (University of Manchester), Ivan Dimov (University of Bradford), Jordan Kaloyanchev (University of National and World Economy), Iliana Tancheva (Sofia University "St. Kliment Ohridski"), Hristo Panov (University of National and world Economy), Yanko Dolapchiev (University of National and world Economy). For one month they were trained in the intricacies of macroeconomic analysis, capital raising, conclusion of financing transactions, investment strategies, financial markets. Every day the trainees attended lectures on specific topics related to the fields of activity of Karoll. Each intern received an individual research task that had to be developed within the practice and to be presented to the experts of our companies. The interns' research work was supported by personal tutors.

The topics of the research projects were related to:

• Investing in gold;
• The investment strategy of the management company focusing Eastern Europe;
• Financing of energy efficiency projects;
• Agriculture in Europe;
• Stock markets in Central Asia;
• Energy Efficiency - trends and growth potential in Bulgaria;
• Growth prospects of the global energy sector;
